We meet in front of Apple store and enter the market from the west side. I show you the anecdotes of the market and my favorite shops, such as Uchida(Pickles), Marutsune(Fried Fish Paste), Uoriki(Pike Conger), Hiro(Wagyu), Aritsugu(Kitchen Knife),etc. Enjoy talking with the venders. Some shops freely give out food samples, you can try if there is a space in your stomach. The highlight of this tour is snack time. We have real warabimochi; a kind of Japanese confectionary made of bracken starch, with fresh kinako; toasted soybean powder. It has a jelly-like chewy texture and is especially popular during summer season. Our goal is Nishiki Tenmangu shrine at east end that gives us good luck for academic and business success. Let's visit together if you like. It is okay to stop by stores you care about or get back there after the tour. Warabimochi sweets are included in the tour fee.
